Our client was in need of new siding and roofing on their lake home in Plymouth, MA. At the same time, they wanted to address the look of the house since “the front of the house looks like the side of the house”.

Unger Construction recommended a full design and build service of a small portico addition and build out of some architectural trim features. It was also recommended that this work be completed before the roofers/siders started their work. We worked closely with the homeowner on design as the project was ongoing to make sure their vision was fulfilled to their liking.

Rough sawn exposed framing was chosen for the portico and garage overhang to provide a rustic but finished look.

This was a 6 week project that included some aerial lift equipment, demolition, framing, roofing, and finish carpentry.
